Local DJ, FVRY, initially contacted me about designing a logo that could be used as his own personal branding. The brief was to design something that would be strong and bold with an element of recognisability about it. It would need to be used across a variety of albums and EPs that would all have potentially different artwork, so needed to be something clear cut and cleanly finished.
The main focus needed to be the V, as this is what sets FVRY apart – The name is pronounced ‘Fury’ but spelt with a ‘v’ instead of a ‘u’. To emphasise this I combined the U and V together to create the symbol that can then even be used on it’s own to promote the business.
After completing the logo I also created a few graphics using the logo that FVRY now uses to promote himself.
